HotWorks.org presents Sarasota Open Air Fine Art Show outdoors at the gorgeous Phillippi Estate Park in south Sarasota, with high visibility off US-41 at 5500 Tamiami Trail. This quality juried fine art and fine craft show bring artists with all disciplines to sell his/her original and personally handmade art.

The event features 50 to 95 quality professional fine art and fine craft artists with all discipline for sale – paintings, clay, glass, sculpture, fiber, wood, jewelry and more – all juried by art professionals. All work is original and personally handmade by the artist who is present at the show. Great food and music add to the ambiance of this beautiful show.

The event brings much positive national exposure and economic impact into the area; it is the perfect community event to be part of.

The event is open on Saturday and Sunday from 10 am-5 pm. The focus is visual arts and fine arts and fine crafts created by award-winning artists from around the world with all disciplines for sale – paintings, clay, glass, sculpture, fiber, wood, jewelry, and more – all juried by art professionals. There is something for everyone in all price ranges. Great food from local area restaurants and music adds to the ambiance of this beautiful show.

Institute for the Arts & Education is a 501c3 non-profit focused on visual arts, cultural diversity, community enrichment, and fostering art education among youth. As part of our commitment to bring art education into the community, the Youth Art Competition for ages 5-13 is integrated within the art show. This program encourages students to enter his/her original art publicly displayed in the art show the entire weekend. On Sunday at 3 pm, there is $250 Youth Art Awards presented at the show as young artists are exposed to the rules and entrepreneurship of doing art shows for a living. Each youth art winner also receives the same two-foot-long colorful gorgeous ribbon that the professional artists receive. (We are looking for a sponsor for this area.)
