Celebrating its 20th anniversary, The Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival is a gem in the Texas fine arts scene, proudly ranked among the top arts festivals nationwide! Nestled along the picturesque banks of The Woodlands Waterway® and in Town Green Park, festival attendees can immerse themselves in a lively outdoor gallery showcasing authors, music, delectable food, and activities for children, all while exploring art from talented fine artists worldwide. Jury-selected artists present an array of unique and original artwork across various mediums at the festival. Recognized as the best event in The Woodlands, this arts festival has become a cherished springtime tradition for both families and locals.
The Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival is presented by The Woodlands Arts Council, Inc., a non-profit organization with a Board of Directors, an Advisory Committee, and more than 500 community volunteers. The mission of The Woodlands Waterway Arts Council, Inc. is to provide regional cultural enrichment opportunities that encourage, support, and promote the performing and visual arts.

The Woodlands Town Center is transformed into a colorful waterfront gallery. The festival takes place in Town Green Park, along the Waterway from the Marriott to Grogan’s Mill Road to 2099 Lake Robbins Dr The Woodlands, TX 77380 (next door to the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion)
Insider Tip: For the most affordable ticket price, buy tickets online. Students with a student ID or proof of enrollment can purchase tickets at the Student Rate, and Veterans and Seniors (65+) can purchase the Veteran/Senior Rate ticket when they show their ID at the entrance gate. Children 12 and under are admitted to the festival free of charge with the purchase of an adult ticket. This is a rain or shine event.
Proceeds from the festival directly fund the year-round community and education outreach programs of Because Art Matters produced by The Woodlands Arts Council.
DRIVING DIRECTIONS
From Houston: I-45 North, Exit The Woodlands Parkway, Right on Six Pines Drive, left at Town Center Parking Garage adjacent to the Pavilion.
From Conroe: 1-45 South, Exit 76 toward Robinson Rd/Woodlands Pkwy, slight right onto Lake Robbins Dr., Turn left onto Waterway Ave, Turn right at Waterway Square Place.

Park for free in the Green Lot or Orange Lot situated off of 2002 Timberloch Place, The Woodlands, TX 77380 OR the Howard Hughes parking garage at Waterway Square at 1450 Lake Robbins Dr, The Woodlands, TX 77380

Handicap parking is available in all parking lots. For easiest access we suggest parking at the Town Centre Garage.
