SOFT MORNING MUSIC

Soft Morning Music is a diptych with each panel measuring 44” x 72.” I love painting large scale flowers! They remind me of when I was a child and I used to imagine myself being so tiny among my mother’s flower garden. I think there were some characters on Sesame Street that were like that. I used to imagine what the world would look like from that scale.

Creating these paintings triggers the emotion of that fanciful, happy childhood memory for me.

On my way to Breckenridge, Colorado, I delivered this large scale commission to The Woodlands, Texas.
